Wow! Very cool Rick and many thanks for this award, but even more thanks for hosting the competition. You know, if you were to move future competitions over to the CombatACE WOFF forum, (HERE), I could make ribbons and/or medals for each new competition that folks would then be able to display in their signature blocks. You could still post the original invitation announcement for your competitions in this forum but all other posts could be in a thread, or threads, at CombatACE. Just a thought as I know how much combat flight simmers like to show off their earned bling.

Many thanks again Rick, this was a blast and I look forward to the next one.

Cheers!

Lou

Well done, Lou!

On behalf of His Majesty King Ludwig III of Bavaria, I hereby award you the Militär-Verdienstkreuz 3. Klasse mit Schwertern for your exemplary achievements as an Eindecker pilot. (It's a suitable award for an NCO, unlike all those PLMs you've been getting.) smile

Congratulations Lou and all competitors and thanks for the challenge Rick! That was some fun! Something about the "you die, your out", certainly changed my decision making in WOFF. Looking forward to the next challenge.
Loved the Tory Amos video, she is one of my favorites. I will display my certificate proudly!

I'll see if I can survive more than the two flights (well one really as I didn't survive the second!)

I look forward to your next challenge Rick!

Thanks for the continued congrats Gents and young Kurt is still alive and flying, though he has become completely disgruntled with HQ. He has yet to be assigned a Halb despite his ace status, his most recent promotion, and the fact that the unit has an extra of the new birds that is not assigned to anyone. In RL he would have been given the very first of the new mounts as soon as they arrived, not made to fly the worst of the unit's planes for another three weeks with no assignment of a new mount in sight. A bit of an immersion killer for me.

I will have to add this to my wish list of tweaks to be made to WOFF in future updates. Ah well, c'est la guerre.
