I discovered WOT through playing the Beta on Xbox Live over the Christmas break. My son and I are both now hooked on the game and I've also got into the PC version. While the graphics on the 360 can't compare to the PC I think the game play is still fun, especially with a good team.

Been part of the beta since it was announced months upon months ago.. lol.

I am not a fan of WOT, Its not a true Tank simulation
But anything that that shows armoured warfare (if you can call it that in WOT) to the masses is a good thing.
I have long held the belief that Sim developers need to look at the console market.
The next gen consoles have the power to run most if not all current Sims.
In fairness to the developers, Microsoft and sony do not make entry easy there list of requirements
And financial commitments is very high.

I've been playing it for the last few days, its pretty fun. I'm trying my hardest to unlock the the Sherman. I actually seem to do best with the light tanks - surprisingly. I see lots of guys rushing forward at full speed when the match begins only to get demolished - cover and patience is your friend
The only major complaint I have is the spotting system - its pretty wonky - especially when tanks you are aiming at just vanish...

That said - its good fun and a nice distraction from COD snoozeville. Plus I can't complain - its freemium and I'm holding strong and not buying "gold."

Just wait until you come across someone with a camo net and all the crew with full camo skill. You could possibly drive right past them and not know it.

That doesn't seem very enjoyable.
