A short video taken during gameplay of all three sims, just as a fun comparison. We WWII flight simmers are really spoiled for choice these days.
(Notes: Cliffs of Dover is a modded version, Battle of Stalingrad is an alpha version, DCS WWII is the final P-51D module for DCS World, which will be included in DCS WWII.)

I'll be your Huckleberry
DCS WWII is not even in Alpha Yet, and while you can say the P-51D and FW-190 are in DCS World, DCS WWII Will use a Completely different Graphics Engine.

Great stuff. If I was handing out rewards based on the video above, my breakdown will be as follows:
Best ground and sky textures (including clouds): CloD. Best airplane textures: BoS. Best cockpit textures: DCS: P51D Best sound: DCS:P51D.
The video's representation of BoS sounds is lacking. This is unfortunate because in my mind, having played both CloD TF and BoS, sound is one area that BoS is markedly superior. The CloD DB601 is good and the Merlin is passable but what the hell is up with the other engines in that game? The Jumo, Bramo, Mercury, A74, etc. all basically sound the same as the Gypsy in the Tigermoth (with maybe a few levels tweaks) which in turn is essentially a lawnmower exhaust note. That alone kills the immersion enough in CloD for me to avoid types equipped with these engines entirely. This is a shame because the He111H, Ju88A, Ju87A, Blenheim, G.50 and BR.20M pits are works of art and I would like to spend time with them. BoS on the other hand has excellent sound design for each piece of equipment in the game so far. Their Stuka is by far the best representation of the type in any sim to-date from a sound standpoint and I am thoroughly enjoying the motor symphonies of other types in the game as well. I simply cannot wait to see what 777 Studios' sound engineers come with for the upcoming Fw190A-3. As far as CloD is concerned, I understand TF reworked the Jumo engine sounds for 4.3 but as far as I can tell they just added some bass to the crappy stock sound for this engine. While this helps a tiny bit and I applaud TF for the effort, the issue won't truly be fixed until the Jumo, Bramo, Mercury, A74, etc. sounds are replaced with completely new ones. The sounds in some of the Barfly vids on youtube would be a good place to start and maybe someone like Jaffa or Tiger33 from the original IL-2 modding scene could help out. I don't own DCS: P-51D, so I can't make a judgement on that. I will likely be purchasing DCS: Fw190D-9 when that comes out, so I will be able to make a decision at that point.
I agree with your rankings otherwise .
Cheers,

If you want to test the game, they have released the TF-51 for free.
