I never commented on the stutter issue, because I have, and have always had, a pretty powerful PC system for gaming... so I have never had any of these problems on any title.
As for the new control options, I couldn't wait for the new FPS type controls, but after trying all three, I went back to the default... just been playing the series too long to change it now... unfortunately.
This one, by far is the best and my most favorite, the only true complaint I have is the slim number of actual pre-arranged battles provided. Yes I know theirs an editor, a quick editor, and campaigns... but I'm limited on time so I like to re-play actual or semi-realistic battles of history, few are provided.

Yes exactly! The stuttering camera is the worst, and I have a very similar system to yours except for a nvidia card. However I did run into a suggestion on the official forums that removed my stuttering 95%. It's much more enjoyable now. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=114616I'm not sure if radeon has this option in their drivers, but you essentially just need to limit the game to 30 fps, and i think there are programs like afterburner that can do this. You could give it a try in shockforce or whatever combat mission game you have to see if it makes a difference or not on your system. Thank you. I'll test this solution, even if AMD don't have adaptive sync I'll find a way to limit fps (I used a wrapper in Silent Hunter 5 for the same effect).

There are lots of missions (18, to be exact) and campaigns (3) provided out of the box.

1 campaign is a small training, then half the battles are just map previews. I'm not counting the map previews. There are 18 standalone scenarios.

Does anybody know on which battles the Soviet and German campaigns are based? Or are they fictional?

Does anybody know on which battles the Soviet and German campaigns are based? Or are they fictional? They are historical. Soviet = Orsha breakthrough German = Counterattack outside of Warsaw
