We'll see. Wolfenstein with Nazis but without Zombies (that eat Nazis) just isn't Wolfenstein. I just hope the whole brilliant over-the-top atmosphere of RTCW doesn't get "casualized" into some flat b-movie Nazi SciFi 08/15 story...

Meh. I kinda lost interest in the franchise after Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Meaning you didn't like RtCW, or the one after?

Meh. I kinda lost interest in the franchise after Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Meaning you didn't like RtCW, or the one after? I actually did enjoy RTCW quite a bit but I never felt compelled to buy the game that came afterwards. I don't know, I think it's just my personal gaming tastes that have changed. I think I'm just burned out on the conventional first person shooter.

Only watched a couple of minutes but looks pretty generic, probably pass.

Only watched a couple of minutes but looks pretty generic, probably pass. It's essentially the same gameplay mechanics that we've seen in other shooters for the past 10 years. At least a game like "Dishonored" has a unique setting, story and aesthetics.

I thought Wolfenstein was a decent enough shooter. I don't remember if I bought it at release or not, but the device letting you enter "the Veil" was nice, as was fighting the uber-teched Nazis. I played it twice and I then replayed RTCW again afterwards and was reminded of everything RTCW did right...and wrong. It's definitely dated now and I don't just mean the graphics. The new Wolfenstein was the Quake 4 or Doom 3 of the Wolfenstein franchise. If you liked one, you'd like the other 2.

I must be a bit older than you Tag since my first fps was the original Wolfenstein in 1990. Lol. I'm 40 now, got my first PC at 28.

Yeah, you joined the party late compared to those of us who started in the 80s! The Jedi Master
