I put this together over the last couple of weeks. It's a very interesting system and is a LOT better than a "buttkicker".

Unfortunately, it only works with FSX/P3D and X-Plane (via the XSUIPC plugin).

SWEET!! Looks a bit too much though, but I expect there is a way to tone it down, right?

It's totally adjustable. I was using the default "light aircraft, fixed gear" configuration that came with the software.

I guess I'm lucky it only works with FSX.

Ice, it'll also work with X-Plane. smile I'm sure that if you have software you'd like to use it with, Ian might be convinced to add support for it. Personally, I'd LOVE IL2 support for it. The airframe shakes when you fire the guns would just kick ass, not to mention shell impacts on your fuselage. smile

I'm also safe from X-Plane temptations.

If it would work with BMS, I'd be sold, but I guess a jet vibrates less than a prop aircraft? The kicking effects would be cool for bomb drops and if it can simulate a left-wing drop from a right-wing drop, that'd be awesome! Should be cool with the guns too! It'll be a great addition to the adrenaline rush. Then maybe a kick when the wheels touch the ground and then some vibration based on groundspeed to simulate going over bumps on the tarmac. Hell, if it can do a small tap when the cockpit is opened/closed, that would be great!

I wonder if the pilot feels if his aircraft gets hit with bullets though? A near-miss from a SAM should warrant a little bump as well.

Like I said, if it'd work with BMS, Ian would open up another market and I'd be definitely one to que up for it..... having said that, what does it cost to build/make/ship?

I don't recall the electronic prices off the top of my head (I think I paid $60 for the motor driver), but the motor was only $20 off eBay.

I spent $10 on the springs and used scrap plywood for the base.
