I remember it from back in the day. I just decided to watch a little bit of it on Netflix and all I can think of is breakfast cereal, milk, and Saturday mornings. Wow! Total flashback to my childhood! smile

All of that aside, I am still impressed with the overall production value that was put into this cartoon series (the music especially, but not only).

Damnit! I need some Sugar Pops!

I've only seen a couple of episodes back when they were shown on Nikelodeon during the 90's.

The only Trek series I've never watched.

I have the whole series on DVD. Notable for the 3rd appearance of Harry Mudd and the 2nd appearance of Tribbles.
Not as good as the original series of course, and Walter Koenig was notably absent, but Doohan was like the Hank Azaria of the show, doing tons of voices.
Many original series writers wrote those eps, too.

I am still amazed that they invested in professional level music for a cartoon back then. The audio aspect of the show's production played such a big part in pulling me in that I get a bit nostalgic when watching these episodes today. In fact, I am tempted to get the DVD series that Jedi Master mentioned just for those reasons. smile

It also had one of the few LOL moments with the original cast. Spock is under the influence of something or other which is affecting his emotions. They come across some giant sand monster on a planet and Kirk says "perhaps we can reason with it."
Spock replies, "Captain, that is an outstandingly stupid idea."

They even had a comic book that went along with the cartoon episodes. I used to have one of them but it is probably long gone.
