OBD - it's short for 'Old Brown Dog' - possibly an identity crisis - please do continue

It's a dog, and it turns when it hears a cat playing on the record..
...which I had thought was obvious?

It's obviously a dog. that turns around when it hears the cat on the record player. From the expression on the dog's face, it's also obvious that it wishes it was a cat, too. Not only because cats are better than dogs, but because it's jealous of the huge recording contract the cat obviously has.
I've obviously overused the word obvious.

You can remove it if you like. Personally I have replaced the new dog with the old OFF dog.

Hauksbee, that would be like replacing the KFC colonel with...I don't know...Justin Bieber, or maybe Johnny Depp (he's from Kentucky, at least). The dog is part of OBD, and I expect will remain so...and should. But I understand your point and don't disagree with it.
