I have just accidentally hit "New" instead of continue on the campaign screen.

Is there any way of retrieving the campaign having done this?

There is- if you can remember which mission number in the campaign you were playing.

If you go to "...douments/1C SoftClub/il-2 sturmovic cliff of Dover/mission/ campaign/..
You should see a folder for each campaign you are playing. Open it.
There should be a file called "state.ini"
Open this with notepad and edit the number after "BattleIndex" to equal the mission number of the mission in campaign MINUS 1
ie for first mission number = zero, for mission ten then 9 would be used.
Save and restart gamem continue with your campaign.

There may also be other files in this folder- these are used to store other information collected during the course of a campaign such as total kills etc. Usually these are reset on starting/flying the first mission of a campaign, so if you have gone into this mission you may have 'wiped' this file(s). I can't give help resetting this as they can vary how/ what is stored here.

Thanks for that. I can't believe they put the "New" box right next to the "Continue" box. I knew I'd hit the wrong one eventually.
