I can't map the "Autostart Sequence" (LWIN+HOME) onto my (TM) T16000M V.1.
I just purchased the download version of the DCS UH-1 so it should be the
latest version. The keyboard key "HOME" is supposed to AutoStart the engine
but it doesn't. Can someone HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM ?????

The Huey is easy to start. It doesn't take much to get the engine running and ready to take off.

Don't use those quick start hokey pokey fokey approaches.

The "home" key does NOT autostart the engine. It's the default key for the engine starter motor, but does not do all the other items needed for aircraft startup.

Being a newbe with the UH-1 HUEY and this Web Site what is the SimHQ TS.
BTW Even when I follow the Manual I can't get this engine above 20 percent of engine RPM.

You might be forgetting to bump up the throttle a little bit (page up by default). Either that or your fuel switch is off.

Ok, I'll be sure the throttle is bumped up a little and the main fuel switch is on.

Thats pretty close to my startup procedure. I fiddled around in the huey and the only thing i could find that was making the engine hang at 20% was lack of fuel. On a cold start the throttle is set to shut off fuel, so you have to bump it up enough to get it to the idle position. You can do that by maxing it out then lowering it until it stops, there is a detent that wont let you go below idle without pressing a button. Double check your throttle control keys and maybe use the control indicator (Rctrl+enter in my game) to verify the throttle setting. Its the lower left slider on the indicator. You could also try maxing out the throttle during startup to see if that works.

Close to mine too, except that I put the throttle to the idle stop (i.e. not 1/3 open like the guy in the video) before starting the engine - and, although not in this exact order, also set the baros, check the governor, check the controls for unrestricted movement / operation, sync the compasses, tune the nav receivers and test the radar altitude gauge. And that's it unless I forgot something just now...

Something else I just thought of is make sure you aren't confusing the collective with the throttle. The collective is the big lever you pull up on to make the helicoptor go up, and the throttle is a motorcycle twist grip thing on the collective.
