Home from Sebring International Raceway, good race, good time. Now I can check off Daytona and Sebring from my list of tracks/races I want to see. The others, Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca, Road America, and the new Circuit of America's will have to wait till after retirement in 2 years time.
Daytona seems to be more organized with things in all the right places, but with terrible full track visibility... while... Sebring is not as organized, it's more old school racing where you pay to get in and pretty much go wherever you want, within reason. They have viewing stands and viewing mounds open to all in most of the corners. They have spectator walkways around MOST of the track. (Daytona really needs that.)
Daytona is more organized and high end, most there seem to be middle aged men, most with money and high in cars. (Talking about the road races, not NASCAR), or middle age men, like me with no money but love fast sport cars, lol, or younger men, fewer women. While Sebring is for the collage age kids, a lot of drinking, loud music, probably because it's Spring Break. A lot of young college men and girls, A bikini contest and live bands. I got lucky, where I parked overlooked the main stage where the bikini contest and rock bands we're and a big screen to watch the race... from my car. I walked around mostly, got pics from every spot, but then during the hot mid afternoon, sat in my car with the AC on and watched the race and young kids party.
Pics and videos later in the video section.... maybe, got to see what turned out.
