Hmmmm hope its true. I'm still playing through and enjoying Mafia2 and the original Mafia is a classic. As long as 2k Czech is behind it I'm all for a Mafia 3.

I discovered Mafia 2 last year and it was one of the most fun games I'd played in a very long time. Well voiced, fun missions. It wasn't really an open world, but it sure FELT like it, which is good enough. I'd love to have another one, open world sandbox or even just the same as M2.

Still have my multi-disk Mafia PC copy. I remember the nice big box too!

Well the team has been gutted, so I doubt we'll see it any time soon and if we do, it'll just be by completely different guys.

Not quite, just quite a few staff from both Czech teams have been laid off and the teams were consolidated.

Which is pretty grim news, especially as lots of the veteran guys have joined other stuff like Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

So Mafia 3 might still happen but with less resources all around.
