I've been learning time lapse photography in real life, and was wondering how it would work/look in a video game, unfortunately FRAPS only goes as low as 1 screen per second, 1/4th would of been better but oh well... still looks pretty cool, at least I think so:

Graphically gorgeous have to say... but it's still mainly 'run and gun' online!
What is the single player element like?

No one plays BF for the single player component. And with good reason, it's not very good and it's not very long.

And, while the online gameplay is mainly run and gun, if you get in with a good group of people that use comms (i.e. Tactical Gamer) you'll find more teamwork-oriented gameplay. Choose your servers wisely.


Personally, I'd rather they discontinue the SP component altogether and, instead, make an offline mode to play against AI/bots to learn the maps, learn how to drive the vehicles and hone your skills. There's very little that goes on in the SP portion of the game that prepares you for playing online. Cut the pretense and just have an Offline mode vs. bots (a la CoD Black Ops) and an Online mode vs. people.
