If anyone has any tricks to make this slideshow actually playable I am all ears, no "turn down the graphics settings" stuff please, pretty much a given. My system is fine as well, I can run anything on max settings....except this crap. Very disappointed right now, went through a ton of learning to be able to play this campaign and it is trashed.

Is it only the campaign that chugs or single missions as well? What is your systems specs? I have not flown the campaign at all, but I have flown on busy public servers before and have noticed a bit of extra "strain" on performance.

Test your machine on my Hollo Pointe server, it should operate just fine. Need to be on the latest v127.

I don't have any advice on the campaign, I only fly multi-player.

It is just the campaign, it gets to a point deep in where it is a slideshow, presumably due to the amount of units involved. I can run the regular missions on high detail with no issues. I have researched the hell out of it with no luck, just find a ton of people saying the same thing and some random "fixes" that have minimal results. Even people with twice the system I have are complaining about FPS drops in the 10's and 20's. Just trying to my luck here.

I enjoy campaigns and the progression that results, so this is a deal breaker for me. Not into the whole multiplayer thing.

Edit it then. Lots of (too much of) concentrated explosions and smoke can certainly cause stuttering.

You can start the mission from the Mission Editor and use the accelerated time LCntrl-Z (LShft-Z to stop it) to get to the point where the problems are and then reduce the number of offending units, or whatever. Maybe someone else has already done that and has an update on DCS Forums.

System specs are pretty much a standard requirement if you're going to come in complaining about frames.

I second that. Kinda hard to help at all if we don't know what you're trying to run it on.
