Don't know whether any forwarding-thinking team has picked this idea up already, but a Combined Arms WWII seems to have the potential to be a great platform to expand on the DCS WWII portfolio.
1) This can leverage asset already in the market/ in development (Combined Arms code with some period specific changes + Normandy Map)
2) The Combined Arm concept - close coordination between air and land assets to achieve mutually complementary effect - would work well in the Normandy campaign setting.
3) This can be the platform for a number of future modules - ground attack planes (e.g. Hawker Typhoon) on the air asset side and high(er) fidelity land assets (e.g. Panzer IV, V and VI, Sherman) that would appeal to audience in key markets (US, Western Europe at least).
Thoughts?
