I try the regular Georgian Hammer and it starts me on the runway but I don't have a lot of systems on I need, I tried the campaign with CA and I have to do the auto start which takes like 5 minutes.

Is there any way to get in and take off to the action in the campaign and have all of your systems up that you need? I realize some people want the 100% sim experience, but I rather not spend 5 min on the ground before every mission and I would like everything up and ready to go. Any tips would be appreciated.

Use the Mission Editor and make a few simple changes.

SAVE a new version of each mission before committing your changes so you do not write over the original...!

In the Mission Editor there is a Unit List -- an icon down the left side -- open this and find the Player aircraft and click on it -- that will take you to the group's icon on the F10 map and display the Group panel on the right.

Your Player a/c may be the first Unit in a Group of multiple Units or it may be the only Unit in the Group. For single-player use 'Player' and you can have multiple units (wingmen); for multi-player use Client and your Client Groups should have just one Unit per Group.

After you find your plane, change the SP Waypoint from Runway or Ramp Start to Parking Hot, or change it to Turning Point to start in the air -- but give it some altitude :-)

When you select Ramp or Parking Hot be sure to click on the Parking Spot field to set this. Choose a Parking Spot.

Not all of your systems will be up on a Warm Start, check the counter measures panel and get your MAVs EO turned on. With an Air Start pretty much everything will be on.

Select the aircraft that you want to change the behavior for and do a Copy Cntrl-C and immediately Paste with Cntrl-V and then modify that new Group to be different from the original, see above ^^^. That way you can make a few different starting types of slots, like Air Start, Warm Start, Cold Start.
