I just did a search from this sit for OpenAl and it gave some site to download it. I downloaded it and it installed other stuff I didn't want and didn't fix my problem. Is there a safe place to download it without getting other crap installed on my PC?

Eek! I just tried the normal link and it doesn;t want to work...

The place I got it from was (starting from)

But I am getting 'cannot find server' so maybe there's been some corporate re-organisation somewhere - as far as I can tell they haven't done a lot with it for a while anyway.

The one I have is oalinst.zip, 590434 bytes which I *think* is correct unless I re-zipped it (unlikely) and it should contain just one file:

I had been trying to get EECH to work on my Win7 x64 system and was just getting a black screen to death. Installed the OpenAL you provided and it is up and running.
