Not everyone respects the NDA

I guess I was expecting to be overwhelmed based on the hype, but honestly, it looks like COD with mechs to me. Based on what I saw I'll take BF4 any day... Just my two cents.

Um, running around with no tactics at all? No thanks. My days of CounterStrike and Quake are behind me.

Pity that the "mechs" are just bigger soldiers and not really mechs.

I like the look of it. A lot of the devs are from COD so bound to rub off but I think this will add something new.

It is like 4vs4 with AI though.

I was hyped about this for the mechs but that looks like COD with mechs, same small maps, same run and gun, my hype has deflated...

It's 6 vs 6 but with other non-playable characters/soldiers (18 per side, I believe) involved in the battle.

I've been wanting some kind of Mech game since MechWarrior 2.

With the mechs I think it will be either 48 or 50 characters per map total.

Yeah, COD:Mechs is what you'll get. I'm not expecting anything more out of it. Not even sure I want the game. They've been gradually transitioning Call of Duty into sci-fi space marine territory for a couple of years now. Titanfall is pretty much that without the official COD title.

No offense to people that like and play CoD-type games, but isn't the market saturated with this yet? I'm sure adding mechs just makes it so that you can't be killed (or harder to kill) by regular soldiers but it seems like you only have to wait 2 minutes or so before your mech is "ready" again...

I REALLY like this game! It is so fluid and feels very nice to play and COD did not cross my mind whilst playing, it is not a COD clone.

The free running is excellent and you can reach everywhere so campers will get taken down from all angles and you never know where death will come from. The Titans are not overpowered either (I was worried they would be) as you have a countdown timer to when you can call down your Titan and can be taken out by other Titans or by foot based pilots as everyone has the Anti-Titan weapons and can bring them down fast if everyone opens up.

I'm uploading a video to YT but is taking ages and I'll post when ready. Have pre-ordered it this afternoon after playing

Yeah, just saw that seems they want to really stress test it.

I just finished the tutorial, seems nice. Will do some MP now. Doesnt seem to have any bonus to preorder, so I'll wait. Anyway, every EA games now will require a wait after what happened with SimCity and BF4....
