I joined FA62 in 1915 and my first mission was to bomb an Allied air base. I was assigned a Fokker E I to cover the bombers. Here is what happened.

My first victory earned me an award, but I am probably now branded a War Criminal by the Allied Command. Oh well, they will never win this war anyways...

Oh, the poor little Morane - just new to WOFF, and then that...
And with Labels - shame on you, Hunshade!
(Mwahahahahaaa!!!)

Looks great - and I have the intention to start an Einie campaign too.
Congrats for the victory, Hellshade

I second that! He's tuned it quite well - very nice looking. I assume it's a combination of SweetFX, Cloud Mod, and just the right graphics card tweaks.

He does need to turn off those darn labels though - those aren't cricket, old bean! smile

Gunnery was quite good too, IMO - he's a pretty darn good shot. It wasn't sporting when he shot up the MS after it was already on the ground, though!

That looks awesome, Hellshade. I'm so rolling a new pilot to try this plane out.

Thanks guys. Yeah I was trying to see if I could blow up the Morane on the ground, but no such luck. Best I could do was set it on fire after the forced landing. Like I said, the Germans gave me a medal but to the Allies I am now a War Criminal.

Lol, war criminal, merciless,...

Use of Labels IS still one ( if not the ONE) of the aspects of this sim that keeps racking my brain...

GREAT video , ...as usual Hellshade smile

Here's one with the labels completely off during a night time mission in my Camel.

I especially like how the Morane L in the first video was able to force land rather than just stall low and crash. AI tends to make those mistakes, whereas a human pilot can make the "fuzzy logic" type decision of when to force land and go for survival. Those little details make all the difference in the game.

OUCH!!! Looks and sounds like you lost your bottom port side wing. One of them must have hit a vital area or you stressed it in the first dive. Nice vid. Hard to see the devils when they are against the black night sky.

Nice video, Hellshade!

Just curious, what FM setting did you use? I saw you pull some moves that should've(would've) sent you into a flat spin in the E.III.

Hellshade, the stock on your MG on the E.III does not seem to line up with the front sight. Was it installed at an angle?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

I use realistic FM. I pretty much try to fly her right to the edge. Not sure if there is a FM difference between an E I and an E III. The E I seems relatively stable to me as long as I don't make any really hard moves.
