Seriously, guys, I don't know what you did (inadvertently? ) and why performance tweaks are not mentioned in the patch notes, but please just leave it this way. Looks like this patch eliminated everything I've been whining about all this time. Enormous thank you and looking forward to the add-ons.

I don't want to get my hopes up The patch has helped smooth things out a lot for me as well. The only other change that I made was on Process Lasso I gave CFS3.exe I/O High Priority to match the Above Normal Priority for CPU time. I thought maybe that might help stop sound based high FPS micro-stutters when looking around. I figured that was what made the difference at first, but given that everyone else is experiencing the same thing I am, I'd say it was probably the 1.11 patch. Give the patch a try sir.

ZikoRgy,
I just noticed you have an Nvidia 770, how does it run WOFF, as I have just purchased one (along with motherboard, 16gb ram & i54670 1150 haswell processor)?
Apologies for the OT post.

Okay, just completed an airfield attack mission. My squadron went in with two flights totaling seven aircraft during a piss pouring rainstorm. While attacking airfield, 7+ incoming enemy aircraft attacked. Big furball ensued (got two) and three more enemy aircraft were able to lift off and attack. Close to 20 aircraft fighting in the pouring rain with AAA and small arms coming up from the ground. Averaged 65-73 FPS with one drop to 51 FPS. No stuttering and no problems. All with an Nvidia 630 GeForce. Whatever the ODB lads did with patch 1.11, I hope they leave things as they are. Awesome!!! That's a relatively anemic card by WOFF standards, too - what CPU are you running?

Yup, I have flown missions from all my active pilots, up and down the front and I too am getting far improved performance with next to no stutters. Very pleased.
Just finished a quick RNAS-3 flight along the coast and in the span of 2 minutes (and according to Post Mission details, 29 rounds fired with just only 6 rounds impacting) I downed two Albi V's!
First one was being engaged by a squadmate and I closed to about 100 yards and fired a short burst, his motor immediately belched black smoke, he flipped over on his back and I watched as he went in at around 90 miles an hour.
A moment later my attention snapped back as I took a few rounds from behind. I kicked rudder hard and came about just as another Albi crossed in front of me. I fired another quick burst of maybe 15 rounds at 10 yards and again I was rewarded with a plume of debris and smoke from his engine and he too went down uncontrolled.
I think luck must have really been with me!
Until this week, I have never flown a Camel in any WWI sim, but I am hooked on them now!

Hah! Spoke too soon. Next mission with my RNAS-3 pilot... I got a little too aggresive with a flight of DFW's. Ended up ramming one as I was trying to light him up... Just goes to show you... luck is fleeting in the skies over Flanders fields... Madmatt
