A few month's ago I tried installing this with 15.1 update. It took a while to load but eventually came up, I discovered that my mouse took a few seconds to move anywhere and was painful to even navigate the menu's.

I then tried install the GOG.com version of EECH with no Mod and it still did this. Something tells me this is a graphics card issue or something specific to my software or hardware I also attempted to try adjusting the EECH.ini frame rate and to no avail banghead I had no problems running 1.14 either.

If anyone can please advise as to what the possibile issue is that would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps I am running:

Windows 8
64 bit Machine

I was about to post about this as well. I was running 15.1 in the past with no problems, but now I get severe mouse lag in the game. I wasn't sure if it was something in 1.15.2, or perhaps something with Windows 8.1. I had to upgrade my graphics drivers after installing Windows 8.1 as I got a crash every time I tried to run Minecraft, so not sure if this is some other windows 8.1 problem, oir just an EECH problem.

I think I might give 1.15 a try and see if it's still a problem.

And for the record, I installed OpenAL and was running the Cohokum_DS version.

I did install OpenAL and tried to Cohokum_DS version. Still had the jitteriness. Love this game which is why I am so upset...wouldn't want to be a traitor and go to "Mircrosoft Flight Simulator X" lol jawdrop.

And SKIP2008, look on the eech central site, scroll to the bottom, they should have something there for ya

you can try run game in windows mode, set low resolution and watch what will happen when cursor goes out from game window - will windows cursor has same lag or not.

also you can try this exe. It's a debug build but don't worry, I don't ask you to find bugs)) mouse works here in exclusive mode, it means windows cursor don't move at the background at same time (usually it does), who knows maybe it will make some difference.

mfsx booooring.....

DanZman, extract COHOKUM_DS_DEBUG.EXE in "cohokum" folder (it's in the your EECH installed folder).

I tried it with just the vanilla 1.11 from GOG. Didn't install any other updates. In game the mouse is really slow on the menu screens. I tried it windowed and it's fine. So it might be something to do with either graphics drivers / settings, or the Windows 8.1 update.

DanZman - what windows version are you on?

So I think I got it. I managed to hit 1 on 32 bit rendering in eech.ini and it seemed to work. 1.15 installed and man back to work. though it sucks. I forgot all the smaller keys.

Either way, I'm back on that saddle. Good to be back boys!

Nice, seems to have worked for me as well. But it's weird, as I'm sure I had already tried setting that option to 1 and it didn't make a difference.

Not as strange as you might think. Same as USB plugs which take three attempts to get the right way round.

Hello all

I have this problem as well, and the problem is not fixed by the 32 bit switch.

I have a suspicion that this is influenced by having a laptop with discrete GPU(in my case a nvidia 650m)and windows 8.x.

my laptop:
I7 2.3 - 2.9
8 gb ram
nvidia 650m, 2 gb (with latest update)

The problem:
1. FPS in fullscreen(1080P) = 19-25 fps
2. FPS in window(1080P) = 100+ (normally locked at 60)
3. FPS in fulscreen(1080P) on second monitor trough 650m hdmi port= same as point 2

I am not expecting a fix or anything as this is not a pressing issue to me, just wanted to bring it to your attention.

note01 - EECH is set to use the nvidia card at full performance trough the nvidia software.
Note02 - could maybe be related to some laptop screens being locked at 59 hz( had problems in other programs with this)

- Alex
