Stop me if you've heard it before
---
This frog walks up to a pawn shop. In the front window there this a sign that reads, "Fair price or trade for antiques and knickknacks."
The frog walks in and sees a guy behind the counter. The frog says, "Hi, my name is Kermit Jagger. I come in here occasionally. The owner is a good friend of my dad. I've had my eye on that bone up there on the shelf, and I brought in something to trade for it. What's your name?"
The guy behind the counter takes a measure of the frog, looks him up and down, and replies, "I'm Paddywack. Let's see what you've got to trade."
The frog pulls an item out of his pocket and hands it over. The clerk takes it, looks it over carefully, and says, "I dunno, we have some of these and I'm not sure it's worth the trade."
The frog says, "Well I already talked to the owner about this and he said to bring it in. Could you ask him to come out here and take a look at it?"
The guy behind the counter shrugs and sticks his head in the back room and calls for the owner to come out front.
The owner comes to the counter and says hi to the frog and asks what is going on. The clerk tells him about the possible trade and hands the item to the owner, who looks it over.
The owner nods to the frog, and says to the clerk:
"It's a knickknack, Paddywack, give the frog the bone, his old man's a Rolling Stone."
