Went looking for trouble with three E.III buddies, a wingman and two more flying top cover. (QC) Spec'd a N11, with one wingman, and two flying top cover. Specified head-to-head at 15,000, 2 NM distance. Found myself alone. Finally turned on labels. There were my guys, about 3000 feet above me at my 10 o'clock, 4 NM away. I climbed (as best an E.III can) and finally closed up with them. As I slid into formation I was looking around, and there on my 5 o'clock, was a single N11 whose label said 5.5 NM Going Home. Going home? Where was the fight? The French wimped out on me, and my guys were playing grab-ass in the chow line.(and I have "Enemy always engages" spec'd in the Workshop). Ah well. There's always tomorrow. Interesting morning light. . Yes I have seen it too, seems like AI goes on vacation...it's nearly Summer in the end so.....35 Celsius everyday over here, better stay in the shadow with an ice cold beer!

OT for screenshots thread but they have to see each other too, 'always engage' just applies if they see you and they are still actively looking, if they decide to get out of there they will usually continue with that.
Also best to stagger the height if you want the flights to mix up more. Say 10,000 and 10,200 or something like that.
(15k is too high for earlier craft try lower too) Good!

[quote=Polovski]15k is too high for earlier craft try lower. Good point. The poor old E.III would be groaning (and stalling out) long before that.

Wow, screenshots 2 and 3 show a great improvement - can't wait to try it myself! Work of wonder, AnKor and OBD - thank you so much, guys!

Bristol Scout career in 1915, with 6 victories in 5 days, the guys now call me the "Scourge of Dourges"! That's great,I can only hit Zeppelins with the Scout, anything smaller it's a nightmare

That's great,I can only hit Zeppelins with the Scout, anything smaller it's a nightmare yep Thanks, I found the Bristol very easy to fly, very stable with a good maneuverability. For the moment, the enemy isn't really complicated to shoot down, the hard part is to found it! Note that I mainly met Aviatik B, those are defenceless, the only time I've met a CI, it didn't end well...

If you want a harder time shooting down "bad guys", you can always try Hellshade's Turbulent Skies Mod. It adds 3 mph wind to every weather. So if it was 0 mph by default, it's now 3mph. If it was 5mph, it's now 8. Just adds some extra turbulence that sometimes makes it harder to keep a steady aim on your target with you both bouncing around. Careful though, especially with the early under powered aircraft. https://www.dropbox.com/s/em9umjx6tie5pp4/WOFF%20Hellshades%20Turbulant%20Skies.zip?dl=0
