shhh,
The TVs are supposed to be Shipped Upright only and secured, not sideways or flat.
If I can find my old sd Card from my phone, and upload images from the Walmart General Merchandise Trucks, You'll Never Buy a TV There again.
Lets just say they are crappily stacked on a palet, the skrink wrap is about as tight as it was on john travolta's grease lightning musical scene, the TVs are stacked upright, sideways, flat, then a piece of brown paper on the top, and a palet of something else on top.
On more than one occasion we'd get TVs stacked sideways, with a Palet of Dry Dog Food weighing 1600 lbs on top of them.

Other than my daughters' 19" TV/DVD combo we bought for their room to watch Nick on a few years back, I've not spent less than $1500 on a TV in a decade. As a result, I have multiple still-working TVs. The Jedi Master

Yup, My Sony Wega 30 Inch HDTV is still going after 8 years, bought it off the Sales floor for $600, Retail was $1400, Since the Store was moving they wanted to sell off the Display Units.
it has Had a few isolated incidents that were solved by unplugging from depreciated surge protector and plugged into a new one, And One incident that required "Bonding Time" (had to remove cover and Main Board, then daughter board to replace Two 16 Pin IC Chips. But when I Replaced them I Added ZIF Sockets that Allow me to replace them quickly without having to de-solder 32 pins and solder in 2 more chips.)
Sony wanted to charge me $300 Labor + $200 Parts + 175 Shipping (175lb CRT HDTV).
I paid $2.99 for the Set of 2 Chips, and $10 Shipping from China, 45 minutes of work, HDTV turned on like new..

If people knew how crappy the components are in some of the BlackFriday HDTV's they'd never buy them. Of course they would. "Look, I bought you a HDTV for Christmas" It's like buying one of those $199 Laptops for someone. Doesn't matter that it's a piece of #%&*$#, it's still a laptop.

Just WOW, I have bought 5 TV`s from Walmart the past 7 years, and they all worked flawlessly the entire time owned. Never any issues with anything bought at Walmart. Returns are simple, those gifts everyone hates to get at Christmas. Last TV Purchase was a 50" Hisense 120hz LED and it works way beyond what I ever imagined it could. Kinda cool watching Youtube videos and Netflix on it.

I bought a 20" inch Toshiba, no corners black tube flat screen TV at Best Buy in 2000, open box, for $230. It was open box because the instruction manual was missing. The unit has never left the store and never been used. It has 1 Super VHS input, 1 component input, 2 composite inputs, 1 composite output - totally unheard of for 2000. When I play a DVD using the component input or a Video game using the Super VHS input, it's beautiful. It's not High Definition but still looks better and sharper and clearer and more colorful than a couple of my HD TV in the house. After all these years, it still works. Amazon still has a listing for it: http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-20AF41-20-Flat-Screen/product-reviews/B00005AYAA
What's in the box? C'mon, what's in the boooox?
