Very nice. Do any of the dials work? That's pretty quick work. Maybe we should team up to finish my blackhawk, as I'm useless at texturing. I could finish the frame.

You can send me all files ( lwo+ textures )

The trouble I was having is finding good textures. I could pay to join the airliners site, and get higher resolution images, but they would still need some work. I need to finish the cockpit model first then work on the textures. It's all slow progress as I can't work on it every day.

I found these images while looking for some other reference material. I think it's a different cockpit, with some MFDs. Not sure of the variant.

Now I see why these have a separate engineer. Looks pretty complicated...

I would not want to make it mouse control in the EECH, I prefer the keyboard

not possible, therefore it is better as a EECH

I do not know how you can be so much to learn switches in the game, you have to be probably the real pilot

Of course it's not so easy to learn about every switch and knob, but now I'm interesting in controls only.
how do you think such complicated avionics can be controlled with keyboard only? groups of actions combined on one key (electric for example - one key turning on all power generators and consumers), or just one key "make it damn heli fly!" (like in DCS ka-50).

I was thinking about this. We could have a cut down version of manual startup. Like circuit breakers already on, instruments already switched on, then you manually do apu start, fuel, engine start etc like in the hind.

I think a clickable cockpit can work fine, providing you aren't required to use the mouse to operate the most frequently used or vital controls. You don't want to have to mess around clicking on the fire extinguisher switch, for instance, or the CM dispenser controls, but for the first bits of startup (i.e. connecting the electrical systems, activating the fuel pumps and valves, maybe making adjustments to instruments if you build that in), mouse control works fine. It's just no very good when flying, because you have to stop concentrating on the vital tasks (flying, not getting hit, attacking targets, etc) in favour of tracking the mouse around the cockpit. Doesn't seem too hard to use to me - combine it with the existing EECh controls and you're onto a winner.

<Insert witty sig block here>

This would be better instead of clicking the mouse on the touch screen, it would be even more realistic so think so, and very interesting ahoy
