These lists are more about what you've seen than anything else, as no one has seen them all.
For instance, the idea that Space Above and Beyond is better than ST: TNG is laughable, but as he's not seen TNG or DS9 or Voyager or Enterprise other than some scattered eps, while he's seen all of SAB, he ranks it but not TNG. Given the complete lack of SAB fan obsession like what ST has, it can't be as good. Firefly, of course, DOES have that level of obsession, so you know even if you don't like it there are plenty of people who do.
I'm not going to list a series like The Wire, even though I know people who watch it think it's great, because I've not seen it. Does that mean I'm telling people other shows I have seen are better than The Wire?

You're making assumptions and value judgements. The idea that someone finds Space: Above and beyond better than ST: TNG might be laughable to you but that doesn't make it a universal truth.

Since the only one I can remember is Battlestar Galactica, I will have to nominate that as number 1. Could have been better though. I will watch Blood Chrome and Caprica eventually. Blood & Chrome exceeded my expectations and the ending is quite stirring for any hardcore BSG fan. I definitely recommend it. I'll have to get to it then. I just remembered Firefly as someone listed that. Nice to, but I preferred BSG. Probably helps that BSG had a conclusion, unless we count Serenity which I also liked.

I also recommend "Caprica" but I will say right now that it has a VERY different pace and feel to it compared to BSG. I still hate they killed it. Left a lot up in the air at the end of the series.

I feel the same. I was a huge fan of the show and it took me a long time to get over the cancellation. I'm pretty sure I know why the show didn't last though.

In no particular order:
1) Breaking Bad 2) Battlestar Galactica (the re-imagined version) 3) X-Files 4) Sanford and Son 5) Mash 6) The Six Million Dollar Man 7) Game of Thrones 8) Happy Days 9) Star Trek (TOS) 10) Batman (Adam West)
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

It's one reason I have a hard time getting into serialized TV shows now. I'll just get interested and they'll cancel it. I really thought that anyone who invested the time in Caprica was rewarded with a deep and current storyline. Though the effort needed to invest time into the show had more to do with the short season length and changing of time slots than the story itself.

It's probably blasphemy to many, but I just never could get into Seinfeld. Maybe it's because I can't stand whiners and complainers...and that was the entire run of that series.
