Way late to the party, although I've flown with sub par controllers, but looking to get a Warthog HOTAS during the black Friday type sales. Newegg has one right now for $419 and I might be able to find one cheaper down the road...but what rudder pedals are you folks using?

I have an obutto racing cockpit that can be configured for flight so I need rudder pedals that fit.

TIA!

Saitek Combat pedals, never had any problems with them and the foot area is nice and big.

This...and of course the Warthog, honestly it wouldn't feel right flying the A-10C without it!

I agree with Mace, Saitek Combat pedals have been great!

Bear in mind that there are a number of people (including me) who think that the pivot mechanism of the warthog stick is crap, for the price paid. It clunks as you pass through centre (by design) and is too stiff (can be addressed). But the grip quality is good, and of course the buttons are indispensable for DCS planes. I put my warthog grip on another stick to get the best of both worlds.

I managed to find a Warthog for $379 a couple years ago in November, you might be able to find one priced similarly this week.

Actually below is the site I bought it from, they currently have it at $419 as well with free shipping.

I got one on Amazon $386, freight made it $395... I figured I had to pull the trigger when it went under $400. Now I guess its time to learn dcs A10. ( I know, I am late to the party, too.)

I have and obutto cockpit too and ordered the Saitek combat pedals and they dont fit where the pedals would normally be for the racing pedals. How do you have your obutto configured for flight? I am also late to the party and bought the HOTAS Warthog joystick and throttle. Love it!!

My obutto is configured for racing. I still haven't jumped on the HOTAS or rudders, Wife made sense and asked if I really needed it because how often have I flown in the past 5 years or so. My honest answer...I haven't flown ANYTHING in about 5 years or so, so how often would I really fly if I had the gear. My main hobby is racing...and that's what I have for gear.

Guess I'll be the very late comer to the party when everyone's tired of it...although I'm an engine run trainer at my base so I get to "fly" our USAF A-10C simulator whenever I want.
