I just posted in the Buy/sell/trade section and my post was augmented with a keyword linking HOTAS to Amazon.

Is this how SimHQ is going now

EDIT:
HOTAS
HOTAS
HOTAS

Jesus the ads around here are getting bad.
I logged on to a Public PC the other day to visit SimHQ and found ads linking to adult content placed all over the place.
I came to check up on flightsim news and found the pages littered with links to sites telling me to go visit to see 18 year olds do their thing.

Can't SimHQ do a voluntary contribution button to the site maintenance.
I'd prefer that to links taking me to porn!!

It's an effing shame SimHQ is going down this road

I had to install an adblocker on my works PC for that very reason. We had a guy sacked for viewing porn and I am taking no chances. I know an ad is quite different to actually watching it but if my boss walked past and saw it it could be very awkward.

I've been seeing this as well, such as in this post: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3871638/Re_94_having_a_laugh_right#Post3871638

Does the site really need this sort of subliminal advertising?

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
I've always been an avid supporter of SimHQ and never lost a word about banners or other ads, but I agree that sneaky link-added keywords are absolutly not compatible with the image of the site I learned to love and respect so many years ago.

I'd rather donate 50 or even 100 for a year.

Yet another example is popping up, this time with the keyword Saitek, such as seen here: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3878980/Re_X55_Rhino#Post3878980

C'mon SimHQ, this is really tacky.
