I am working on an affordable cyclic. I want to be able to use my hall effect sensors and arduino UNO and turn it into an HID device. Anyone ever done anything like this? I basically want to make it plug and play.

Just read this so sorry for the late reply.

You might want to ditch the UNO for PJRC's Teensy. Smaller and cheaper than the UNO.

You can even use the Arduino software to program the Teensy
