50 bucks... love cold war games, but I'll wait for reviews/more info for that price...

Been waiting for this, too. Reminds of a boardgame I bought, but rarely find willpower to refresh the rules and convince a friend to be able play so this will be much more convenient.

Hopefully some reviews will be out shortly.

I too look forward to the reviews. I was never able to log on successfully for the beta so gave up after getting access to CMANO. It reminded me of the older DOS series games from Avalon Hill and SSI that were a blast before the eye candy matured to where it is now.

Thanks for the reminder Magnum.

Part of the issue with charging a premium price for your games is other games and their developers suffer.

I'm an impulse buyer. Normally a new game hitting the block that I'm remotely interested in will grab me if it's around £30. Anything more than that and I normally hold off - and for an impulse buyer that pause likely results in a no sale.

In this particular situation - the reason this developer might suffer and might not get my money is because I've already spent £100+ on Matrix games in a month...and £65 of that was on CMANO. Had CMANO been priced lower, I'd already have FC:RS on my drive...but as I will have to wait, it'll probably slip under the radar.

It might not - it might be lucky and I pick it up later - but that's not my normal purchasing profile...the pause often results in a lost sale to me

Hey that's funny. I am from around one of the villages on that map

In the 1960's (I wasn't born then) there was a large military exercise taking place. There were british and american tanks all over the place and some were trying to hide in the apple orchard of my grand-parents' farm. They should have tried harder, because my late grandmother found them and chased them off with her pitchforks before they could destroy more crops. Hell, I'm sure from that day on these tankers preferred a division of Russians to my granny in rage... salute

I wonder if this is modeled correctly rofl
