Yes, you read that right; I want to buy a cheap PC Wheel and Pedal set for my mom.

I recently purchased Euro Truck Simulator 2 for my motion racing platform and very much enjoy it. My mother is a retired truck driver and I think she would really get a kick out of this game so I want to set her up with a wheel and pedals. Since I am not at all sure she will actually continue to play it I do not want to spend big money on a wheel set. If she does indeed get into it I will then buy her a nice rig and keep the cheap set as a backup.

Anyone have an old MOMO or Thrustmaster set in a closet? biggrin

I have a wingman formula force that is sitting in the cabinet, not being used. The only issue is that there is a lack of force feedback and it requires specific drivers to work in Win 7. I need to get rid of it so let me know if you're interested.

Griff's Rig: Intel i7 4790K @ 4.4 Ghz, MSI Z97 MPower Max motherboard, nVidia GTX 780ti, 16 GB of Geil Trident 2400 MHz RAM, Windows 7, Warthog HOTAS, and Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

I've got a Microsoft SideWinder Force-Feedback Wheel (USB, red version) lying around.

It's not the fanciest of wheels, but it's fully-functional, plug-and-play, and has a powerful motor providing the FFB.

Griff, thanks for the offer but I do not think it will work with Windows 8.

Nameless, I sent a PM.
