Just discovered that my registration here still works. Thanks to mikew reminding me on this forum elsewhere. Cool to see that some people besides me still play this remarkable classic.
I don't know whether people have resolved their
HOTAS issues, or not, but as it was raised here. I use the T16000M
HOTAS FCS (incl. The TWCS throttle). I have created a TARGET profile that includes both and run it. It should run before the game is launched and also before you enter the config menu using Reloaded. If you haven't done so, maybe it is advisable to run the profile, start up reloaded, click on the wrench and then select config next to your install. Under preferences joystick should be selected. Next is to setup the joystick under preferences. You have to follow the instructions confirm and moving joystick, peddals and throttle. Then simply select yes when you are asked whether you have a Flight Stick Pro (I think it was that one). Exit and then run the game.
Works flawlessly for me. I'm using 640×400 resolution in full screen mode because:
1.) There are no graphical glitches in the MFD views
2.) You'll notice that you can see targets at longer distances and not just in the last moment, comes in handy when strafing targets on the ground like parked aircraft, but also during dogfights.
