SkySerpent, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I saw the other post but I have been swamped of late and haven't had an opportunity to address this until now. First, we need to narrow down the scope of your issue. Is the problem that you can't get EF2000 working in 1680x1050, or is the problem that you can't get TACTCOM/GFX+ running in 3DFX mode? From your second paragraph it appears that the resolution is at least one issue, but this actually may not be the case. DOSBox for EF2000 is designed to run in windowed mode with a hidden title bar in order to simulate fullscreen mode, as actual fullscreen mode causes issues between 2D and 3D views with 3DFX. Because it's optimized for 3DFX and renders the polys prior to the DOSBox renderer, there is also no scaling by default. This means that if you run the original unaccelerated EF2000, you may see a fullscreen that looks like 640x400, but is actually the resolution you specified. So the question is do you see a "fullscreen" EF2000 or a small window? If you see a "fullscreen" you are getting the desired resolution. If you're looking for TACTCOM/GFX+ issues, I can't help you there beyond what is in the manual (I have EF2000 V2.0 myself), but there is a post on the CombatSim.com EF2000 forum titled "please copy to the Tactcom directory" error solved. This might be of some use. Hope this helps.

Any chance of having this classic Sim fully downloadable WITHOUT having to have the game disc at all like Total Air War? Thanks. Difference between this and the Total Air War mod is that the TAW mod changed datafiles which means that (at least with TAW) you can't use the CD. We didn't change anything with EF2000, so there's no compelling reason to make it a "full release".

Thank you HomeFries. I have heard mentions about Strategic Command for EF2000 and is there any way to download it since the website is down? It looks amazing and if anyone has it (or knows where to get it) can you please let me know? Thanks.

LOL Stupid me, I only searched titles with "Eurofighter", didn't think about the short... Well, after the resurrection I've never quite been the same.

Actually... IIRC the original manual was Red and Black on white pages... Hehe that was as thick as a brick.
Lovely.
