Yup. Steam dropped out for me a little while ago.

Looked it up and its down for scheduled maintenance (so I read not sure how good that source was). My brother and I were playing some Borderlands 2 and left wondering who forgot to pay their cable bill!

Time to go ride a bike, fly a kite or go to the playground (with kid).

its back up for me. Couldn't log in there for a bit, but now i'm having no problems.

You could still run it in offline mode though.
