Last nights awesome ending to the show. I can see the season ending cliffhanger now. Does he or doesn't he? The clip is a spoiler if you haven't seen the episode.

Yep, them hollywoods sure do get great scriptwriters for their "dating history"!
I've personally seen one well known hollywood movie star "date" someone different from what the public kept being told about. If it's been made public, it's been through publicists. To feed the bloodthirsty "Celebrity Industrial Complex".

They don't have laugh tracks, they have real live audiences. Those clips just have the main dialogue tracks, you can tell because there is some dialogue missing and a minimum of background noise. Background, audience reaction and other sounds are edited in afterwards.
In either case, they serve the same purpose: there's a social component to laughter, it's known to be possibly infectious. Whether laugh track or live audience, they serve to reinforce the jokes. It's the equivalent of theme music played in minor chords when a bad guy or serious scene develops onstage or onscreen. It's supposed to be using suggestive, using the power of suggestion to the audience.
This just popped up on my Youtube what to watch. LOL

There's something I always wonder about tv sitcoms. For me personally, I can't stand to watch any sitcoms from the 1980's or older because of how campy/cheesy the humor, situations and acting are.
Will people 20 years from now think the same thing about shows like Big Bang Theory, Modern Family or Community?

I can still watch Cheers, Home Improvement, Married with Children, saw Cosby on LATE last night...first season even...and it's still good. I can watch WKRP at any time. Plenty of good old sitcoms out there, but there should be as many as there have been. Shows like BBT, Arrested Development, that 70's Show, Modern Family, The Middle, Raising Hope (the current Arrested Development-like hidden gem IMO)...I think they'll be good for a long time to come. One day BBT will be funny as a look back to the time since it's so nerd-pop-culture related. The others are just brilliant and well cast, which I think will be more and more appreciated over time.
