Oh, PropNut, it makes me a little sick to my stomach to think that your amazing Mech pit has been re-purposed into a racing pit. Your Mech pit was everything I ever wanted in a pit: buttons and lights galore and fully enclosed. But I suppose that even though the Mech genre has resurfaced in the past few years, you'd get much more use out of a pit dedicated to racing, seeing as how all of these new "mech" games are basically WASD first person shooters with a new coat of paint, and are not really sims at all.
But speaking of racing, I'm looking for a cheap-ish entry level wheel and pedal setup. While I'd love to drop $250 on a
Logitech G27, I don't have the scratch for that right now. I've been looking at Thrustmaster's Ferrari GT Experience Racing Wheel and Ferrari Challenge Racing Wheel, since they both fall under the $50 range and can get me a good start into the sim racing world. Since you've transformed an amazing work of art and engineering from a Mech pit to a Racing pit, I'd love to hear your advice on the subject.
