If we had just avoided you guys, we might have been ok on points. When we were moving to engage at the end, I assumed at least some of our team was still alive
Also, when you guys spotted me, I hadn't noticed that I had fell off that little ledge, so I was trying to back up into your spawn unsuccessfully, so then it was LEEEEROY JENKINNNNS!
Funny thing in that video was clydewinder. He tries to clear the gully and comes up short like one of those crazy motocross guys short'n a jump. Faceplant!
Haha good video, you guys lit up their assaults and heavies GG, also glad you guys got that cheezy 3-L, always hard fighting those 3L ECM bastards with a Jenny especially now with the SRMs nerfed.

It wasn't that bad. We had 2 kills and 24 deaths (0.08 team K/D ratio). But there were at least 15 or so "gg close" calls and even if you apply a sympathy discount factor of 33%, that's 10 genuine shout outs, which on the open market trades for 0.5 kills. Our adjusted team K/D ratio is then a respectable 0.1. At that rate, we will be able to have an "actuarial equivalent win" in only 8 drops!

Ya, i was trying to somehow justify it to myself as well.
Seriously though, it might be a way to 'force' us to work more cohesively as a team and/or change strategy/approach. I am not saying that we aren't currently, but I am wondering if those losses can show us some way to improve, and then be more effective overall.

Overall, I think we've played 6 8-man drops in the history of the game. The teams we played probably do that many a night and have for a while. LOL We also saw different types of teams. They all found what works for them, we just need to do the same. A balanced team, or mostly heavy/assault and long range? LRM's or LL/PPC? Mainly I think it's clear that you get a lot less of the 1 on 1 turning fights and more of the old school warfare shooting at each other from long distance before resorting to bayonets. We had no ECM (I noticed each team had TAG though), no LRM's and maybe we were more balanced weight-wise than we should be for most of these teams. At least they didn't base rush with lights. The other teams seemed much more defensive and cautious about moving up.
