Hello Hornet-Heads! I am proud to announce my first campaign creation is ready, thanks to Major Dragon who compressed the text files for me. It hasn't a fancy or very long mission tree, but contains only custom missions created by me and other people I fly with as well as some of my favourite missions I found on the net (all NCAPE). I just linked them with a hopefully nice and consistent storyline and limited the ressources very much It should be good to have a online-party playing it and taking care of useful usage weapon and bringing the birds home for the next mission. If anyone is interested, I will release it! My second campaign is almost ready, but this time it is a *semi-dynamic*, circular campaign. It has a dynamic ground and sea war, and a simulated dynamic air-war. The mission circle represents one day, you will repeat the circle again and again until time (1week) or ressources expire or all campaign goals are achieved. If you think now, you will have to play the same missions over and over, then you are right, but also WRONG! You will have a fully operating carrier air wing (F14's, A6's, S3B's, AWACS, Tanker etc.) on hand each mission, but YOU have to set their waypoints in the planning screen! This means, u can freely decide in each mission what to do, wether to put more A/C on BARCAP, or to drag the F14's BARCAP-waypoint over your target acting now as a TARCAP etc. I achieved this by assigning all the elements of the wing to the briefing groups, allowing the player to edit or add waypoints in the mission planning screen. The debriefing or campaing logic just detects if there's one of the campaign goals achieved or not, it doesn't matter what you decide to do first, so there's no specific goal for each mission. There is no mission to just click and fly, if you don't setup the flights, they will fly just dumb patrol. I am now testing the details, but so far this concept seem to work (although Jane's is not really designed for it;)) I tried to have the FalconAF-like campaign planning in my beloved Jane's, I would like to know how you like this idea and if it would be maybe worth to release it? Cheers , Lobo

Sounds good, mate. Glad to see more creative people getting involved. Sounds like some cool stuff you are working on.
Just keep working together with Major Dragon so that we get your text files compressed with most current comprehensive version. Don't want to exclude any of the other work being done by other guys.

Recluse was the first to give me a place to post new stuff for download, so I'm kinda partial to that option, myself.
