If we could only get Tripwire Interactive and Graviteam working together on a WW2 sim and fps that would be something with Graviteam providing the models, single player aspect with missions, the ballistics and tactical aspect and T.I. providing the game engine, the maps, the infantry aspect and the MP. But it's never going to happen....

I voted yes, and I'd be willing to pay to to $70, for a realistic WWII tank sim. Mission editor is a must.

Definitely. Don't care much about multiplayer, but a decent tank sim would be awesome with or without.

Most certainly.

As long as we have a robust dynamic SP campaign with decent AI.

Multiplayer experience is way overrated IMO.

I certainly would purchase such a sim
I think forty to fifty bucks/euro sounds reasonable.
But I would be prepared to pay more depending on the content of the game.

Personally I wish SB management would have a change of hart and make some type of WW2 add on.
If not allow a third party to build it under licence.

A while ago.
And just for fun.(No intention of doing it.)
I was trying to figure out how much it would cost to make A WW2 tank simulation to the same high standard as SB.
Starting with about thirty Vehicles and four ground attack planes. The more I tried to cost things like a game engine cost per 3d model researchers etc. I quickly adopted the view it would not be a viable Enterprise
You could cut corners use new artists (cheaper) etc. but still you would have to sell a hell of a lot copies
Just to break even. I think you would have to go in to some sort of collaboration with another developer.

Can I ask if you have something in mind FlashBurn.
Such a project would indeed be an exciting prospect.
To date no body has made a truly realistic WW2 tank sim.
As I stated in one of my posts I looked in to such an enterprise but it was just for fun.

This is not the bars that keep the Tiger in the cage, this is the space between the bars.
