Yeah sorry it's taking so long Matt we are adding rather a lot more than we first planned, but your music is still cool even so long later - we hear it often launching WOFF to test and tweak . Hopefully soon definitely light at the end of the tunnel now. I think

That's the best reason for an excuse I could think of. Matt's music isn't one that looses it's flavour.

We're hoping to release the soundtrack, probably as a digital download somewhere. It's a case of finding publishers, retailers etc Have to wait for the game to be finished first before exploring that.

well if ROF gets its Fe2b out before OFF then I would be hard pressed to wait any longer. And with BOS coming out, the finances for ROF will also get better.

Everyone has to have their own priorities. The Devs are to not release their sim until it's the best they can possibly make it in every way. I can see where that is very frustrating to some, but when the end result is finally shipped all talk of the 'long wait' will be left in the dust as people likely tell story after story of their incredible new experiences.

There's two things that take time to make in a sim: "Features" and "Quality". Based on the screen shots and Preview movies, it would seem WOFF will be packed with both so that's why it is taking so long.

Thanks Hellshade, OFF is a whole lot more than some aircraft, even the campaign engine's new features will impress greatly when we discuss them I am sure. Some really cool things we can do.

Getting there...

Waiting for the release must be frustrating, when you have nothing else to do.
But if you have, you should do it, whatever it is.
There's nothing bad about trying and flying other sims in the meantime.

But I'm sure I know the OBD Team well enough by now, that I can rely on them
bringing up a lot of great new stuff and features. When they work on it so long,
that must have good reasons, far beyond the adding of some cows on the meadows.
And then it will be worth double and triple the waiting.

Yea lots of talk about features here and there one feature that no one hit on yet is PhysX we've all seen some great stuff pics video's etc but not mention of PhysX there a lot of PhysX games coming into the market place now be interesting if OBD had plans for this technology with WOFF
