I have to say that the screenshots, also those posted by Mace here, look gorgeous!
I was never really interested in the game due to the setting. It doesn’t look dark or dangerous enough for me. Or maybe I was just expecting another Rapture city-like setting when reading "Bioshock". And now seeing the screenshots I still wonder, why should one want to shoot people in this game? Everything looks so calm and friendly.
But apart from that, again, the pictures look simply mind-blowing. Without doubt the best computer graphics I have seen recently.

I've seen some eery places so far. And rescuing Elizabeth from her Statue Prison was cool because there was something huge and creepy trying to stop us!
And to add to the creepiness and to my first post, there is a masonic, illumniatist, spiritualist theme in it too amongst the other touchy subject matters. Going through what I can only guess was a "lodge" was eery.

It is the underlying theme of what is going on there that is dark and I think they have contrasted it perfectly with this light and colourful world with an evil and dark man controlling it. Says a lot about the world as we know it too.

Yeah, I like the Bucking Bronco too and Murder of Crows second. Favourite weapon is the hand cannon I have just come across, looks a proper western era six shooter and dispatches soldiers/guards with 2 shots.

Have to say this is one of the most visually stunning computer games I've ever seen. Love the art direction. And the gameplay is pretty good, too.

Yeah when I came up to that part in the game I said to myself, "Are they singing a Beach Boys tune?" If you like the look of this and gameplay I'd reccommend Dishonoured. I really enjoy that game. Has a similar artsy direction but with more of a water color palette. I know Mace didn't care for it but I really enjoy it. And its more stealth based. I started playing again and not being so over powered this time I like it
