Another question-I have heard many opinionson this topic. Or adding NEW texture to the cockpit in eech is simple,or there are limits, and is with this issue? I heard that you can use only existing textures, the new can not be added. What is the truth? I know eechcentral tutorials, but is somewhere guide on how to add a new texture to cockpit? You can add new textures no problem. All the textures in my Blackhawk cockpit so far are new. I'm using 32bit BMP files. If you're replacing an existing texture, just replace the current textures file with your new one. If it's a new texture, just make sure it's in the textures folder. I'm planning on writing up some tutorials on what I learn when doing the Blackhawk cockpit. If you want to ask specifics that you're working on, then PM me, or send me shots of what your doing. Here's a good video on the basics of UV mapping, which is what you need to know about to add textures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0O7jRMIPFU

The default models exported from EECH have quite annoying surfaces. As you can see, they're all listed Surface001, 002 etc etc. It's not very helpful to know what surface you need. Whenever I'm editing a model, I generally assign a new surface to the polygons I'm editing and call it something meaningful, like MFD surround for example, then texture that surface.
If there is a surface in the scene that has no polygons assigned to it, then when you save and reopen, that surface gets removed. So in this way, you could replace all surfaces with meaningful names.

Works!!! BUT questions: When I texture left side hud (1)is ok, but when I try the same on right side (2) texture disappears from the first and appears on the right.I must create new surface for all sides ? OR How do I make all the textures were mirror on the left and right at the same time?

All working great , but when I try convert to eeo i have this communicate: edit This is probably the cost of learning On the new model works all.Another question-when I give color to some surface, it becomes clear, invisible, why? How to change it? I do not change anything in the settings of the color, none of transparency, nothing.
