Below is a link to a a video by Team Fusion detailing the major updates intended to be in our first Patch release for the Simulation Cliffs of Dover.
We, like you, are Flight Simulation enthusiasts and are steadily, methodically and with dedication, working away to improve and eradicate the remaining bugs that have hindered the software since it's release.
We are not an official body supported by funding, just passionate individuals gathered together in unison to make sure one of the best simulation of WW2 flying combat, gets the attention and kudos it ultimately deserves.
Over the previous months, we have gathered talent, effectively from across the world, and made huge progress in nurturing the Software as-well as understanding some of the much more complicated issues that have caused some to shy away from this awesome Simulation.
Please note that we will do our very best to answer questions, but there will be times that you may hear nothing. This isn't to 'hide' anything or avoid your specific points, it may just be that we really can't answer the questions and we will do our best to indicate this. Please remember, we are a group of enthusiasts, not paid or looked after by anyone, so all our work is free and done in our spare time.....for you!
The video can be viewed here, and please feel free to share the link or embed the video wherever you find appropriate.
In the video linked below you will see just some examples of the progress that has been made and yet it really is (as we are discovering) just the tip of the Iceberg as we probe deeper and learn so much more!
With that in mind, please enjoy the following presentation and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on our progress.
Cheers, Team Fusion

Thanks for your efforts gents, look forward to this.
Whilst I realise your efforts are primarily geared towards Multi-player, I'd love to see some work done on the radio commands/communications for wing men etc.

Can you tell us anything about the code in CloD, generally speaking of course. Is it such a mess most have come to believe? Are the major issues "fixable"?

I'll be your Huckleberry
To be honest I am more on the Promo side than coding side. The guys who are working on the code/in the code, are really making huge strides in understanding what makes it tick.
It's difficult to find the right diplomatic words to sum it up, but I'd say that Cliffs of Dover, from the code that we have so-far examined is a truly outstanding piece of software. Some of the items that are in there are breathtaking and so far ahead in their forward thinking (items built in but not yet activated), it really is a crying shame that it got shut down when it did.
I mean one thing we found was.......nope, mustn't say! Sorry
The best way I can describe it is, imagine you just opened up a new present and inside was a machine that it kept giving you more presents. That's pretty much what we are looking at at the moment.
One of the guys on Team Fusion put it quite simply like this:
"CloD is like a Box of Chocolates.....you never know what you're going to get!"
We are getting a lot, time will tell whether we can give it to you....but we are trying
I'd finally add, just look at how much we have achieved in such a short time? We are constantly re-writing code, beta testing (blimey that's a chore...but worthwhile ultimately), re-writing code...beta testing...etc, etc.
There are many things not shown in the video as we want you to have some fun finding new features, but we have many new directions to travel as we get deeper into understanding exactly what we are working with...its great, and CloD will (we are very optomistic) one-day be the Sim we all hoped for, cheers, MP

In a rough sense, how far off are we from release?
I mean, I know that exact times are impossible and unwise but perhaps something as simple as a saying if it will be a matter of a few months or something until first release.
