Got a 3.4 % pay-rise since January 1rst and another 2.4 % in January 2014.
Not bad compared with the last years.

Mmmmmm ... Wish I did but me thinks I'm about to get flooded out in the next few hours.
And what's a Tornado? We apparently have had 6 today, just a couple of 100km's away from here. Only ever thought they occurred in Kansas, you know ... Dorothy, Toto .. Tin man etc!!
In for a long night ... Starting to get a little messy now

Winds over 200mph are normal in a tornado. Hit the basement, cellar, get underground. If it hits you directly....you're screwed.
Mmmmm... We don't have basement's here and it will be a Rat's Ass if I'm gonna start digging one now! Guess if one happens to come along .... I would be Fornicated

If it hits you dead on.....you're right. Find a bath tub in the center of the house, close the doors and hope for the best. It'll sound like a freight train coming. Don't move, till it's gone. If you can't get underground, you're in trouble. STAY AWAY from windows. Then, give us the 'good news' when it's gone....

Then, give us the 'good news' when it's gone.... Indeed. Best o' luck, Furball. Head down and spirits up. As for the good news, I made a big batch of oatmeal chocolate chip and marshmellow cookies. (Murphy and Furball can have some, but there's not enough for everyone. Sorry.)
Question everything!

We got the wood cut today, and the weather was beautiful. High 30's and sunny, so it felt plenty warm. I have a little John Deere 332 diesel lawn and garden tractor with a small dump trailer, which makes the task of hauling the wood out of the woods and to my 5X12 trailer. we loaded about 3/4 of a cord and kept most of it in smaller pieces that don't have to be split. Got that right into the basement, and have the stuff that has to be split off to the side. I have a 34 ton splitter that will make short work of it. We are now getting into the bigger parts of the trunk which is a little over 3 feet in diameter. I have recently bought a skidder tong which should allow us to drag those pieces out of the woods to the splitter to avoid losding the really big stuff. A 5 foot diameter slab 16 inches thick is so heavy it is hard to roll up the ramp into the trailer. All of the trees on this job are oaks that fell and I am just removing them for the wood, since the owner is a really good customer, and a WWII airborne vet.
Murphy, it is all part of my plan to save spending on a gym membership!

What about the cope ? What mount ?
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

Outstanding! I never made it to Eagle, but have remained active in Scouting all my life, and I think it has helped me in school, the Coast Guard, and life. Both my sons are Eagles and I know you will help keep your son keep his focus. Starting out with a plan for the trail to Eagle is a great beginning.

I'm buying a new garbage can! A large capacity 75+ gallon job with a flip-up top and wheels! Just have to wait until the tax refund... (I'm totally serious.)
