That is VARY odd. It is not suppose to even support that. Are you using some eyefinity or nvidea or one of the 3d party screan split deals?

Did you change APOS default settings, section 6 especially? The same about the driver settings.

Not sure what is going on here. Im guessing you have more monitors running? If so you have to disable it in your Nvidia control panel. I had to disable AA in it or else the game wasn't running in 3D view (I got a grey blank screen with icons). Also running GTX680 and is fine now with the game.

Yeah that looks like the results of running with nVidia Surround on, can you doublecheck that?

I experience this exact same thing, running the demo on an Eyefinity setup. The frustrating thing is that the Options default to my 3-screen resolution, but the graphic doesn't scale to match. And, since this scaling causes whatever Close button there might be out of the game to not appear, it doesn't save/commit the resolution change that I make in options to a 1-screen resolution. I found a file under the program install directory that shows this resolution, but changing the value there has no effect, as after a re-launch of the game, the value is over-written.

Such a simple problem that I've not experienced in any other game, but glad I tried the demo before buying the game (even on sale). Hopefully there's a workaround that doesn't require changing my Eyefinity profile, as that can be flakey sometimes and I have a very specific configuration for iRacing that I'd rather not have to rebuild.

Hopefully someone can come up with a solution, but for now at least the OP knows he's not alone!

Yeah APOS doesn't like triple screen Eyefinity/NVSurround resolutions or forcing the AA/AF settings in the driver control panel.

Whenever I play it, I just disable triple screen mode, yeah it's a pain and I wish they supported it, but this game is well worth the small irritation, hopefully they fix that in the future.

Andrey, many of us modern simmers have triple monitors and run our desktops at 5760x1080, most games that are configured to run in single screen resolution (i.e. 1920x1080) will show up normal in only the middle screen, APOS doesn't handle that correctly and that is what we're seeing/discussing here.

While I'm sure a single 19" monitor works well too winkngrin , many of us have long gone on to bigger/better resolutions and we just want to make sure APOS and other Graviteam games don't get left behind and unplayable for us, it will also set a bad impression for those with similar resolution that try the demo and run into the issue and never bother to get past that problem.

Thankfully for now at least we can disable the high resolution temporarily to play the game and re-enable afterwards, IMHO it is a game worth doing that for, but many may not want to go through the bother.

Good to know you will consider it for the future thumbsup that is my main hope for your excellent games to keep getting more and more players and exposure and not ignored because it doesn't work on high end systems, at least you know where to find people to test a high resolution fix.

Thanks for the input - I'll try setting up a different monitor group to run at single-monitor resolution and check out the demo. Assuming that works, I'll be picking this up. Sounds like the game is worth it, and it's always great to see a developer actively supporting their product on the enthusiast sites.

Thanks again! smile

Yea, the game does not like multi monitors and forcing AA with your videocard util. So disable AA and use the ingame videocard settings.

When switching back to Steel Beast Pro PE I have to force AA back and disconnect or disable my rudders as that game does not support it ingame.

Its done in 2 seconds work. biggrin
