I disagree, they've hit 50% in less than half the allotted time. And the trend is stable. I'm quite confident that It'll make it Also I pledged, so I WANT it to happen!

I'm afraid they're not going to achieve their Kickstarter goal. At this time they aren't even at 50%... unless they get more publicity fast (just 40 days to go) i don't think they'll get enough money. Which would be a shame. That's not how KS work, you tend to see two periods of intense activity, firstly at the start of the project and then at the end, the bits in between are best viewed as the doldrums. I have seen two projects I thought would fail manage to pull through at the end when things picked, some even made decent stretch goals within the last 48 hrs. No way to fully predict how a KS will end.

I really like some of the details they spoke about.
But i really dislike the typical non newtonian "aerodynamic" modelling of space flight.
That for me is a let down.

That for me is a let down. The game does have a Newtonian physics model, check out the FAQ on the kickstarter homepage. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1461411552/elite-dangerous

In my case this video just convinced me to pledge. It will have to wait to next month, but i will, because looks very promising. I only hope we will have workable cockpit, i dont expect a DCS/F4 clickable cockpit, but some workakble buttons/switches and functional mfd's.

That for me is a let down. Apparently it has Newtonian physics. Will you have Newtonian physics in the game? Yes. The degree of the fly-by-wire to override the feeling of skidding is something we will carefully tune.

Well if it is handled like evochron with swtiching between pure thrust vectoring and computer aid where the computer inputs the thrust to fly you where you are pointing, then that would be fine

I think Loophole doesn't remember Frontier.
That was the game with a lot of newtonian. It just wasn't that much fun overtaking your target with +10000 kts and trying to find it again, now was it?
