Is your RAM running @1600? I ask because while I have 1600 RAM, it works better @1333. I get BSODs and other instabilities from time to time @1600 and I just gave up and leave it at 1333.
Also, do you have any other programs running? Things that live in the systray that you don't need when running DCSW? Might want to run with a minimal load to test.
You also didn't mention your video drivers. Do you have the latest from AMD? Might be worth a shot.

The Jedi Master I believe my RAM is running at 1600, how would I throttle it back to 1333? I noticed in the crash log I posted above it refers to "system32". Does this indicate that it is running in 32bit mode when my Win 7 is 64 bit?

OK, disconnected all ancillary USB devices and it's still crashing on me.
I'm just about ready to give up on ED. All my other games are working fine, eg. Rise of Flight, iRacing, Deus Ex: HR.
This is what my latest crash log reads if anyone is smart enough to make sense of it (I'm not!):

(Well, SFC /scannow will scan, but it wont restores in Win7). So. You can try dropping to DDR1333 My brother was getting the same C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION in Mozilla at least 100 times a day, it turned out to be memory, and we made it worse when we doubled his RAM (adding 2 more sticks), we fixed the problem completely by upping the IMC Voltage a Hair. I havent worked with Intel Chips in a While, So I dunno if there is a BIOS option for memory controller voltage. if You want Help, Post this on Eagle Dynamics (your problem and crash log). http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=187

Well, my i7 mobo lets me change RAM voltage and timings as well.
I can't really offer specifics because different boards do things differently, but there should be a macro setting like "auto", "XMP" (maybe), and specific speeds like 1333, 1600, and others in your BIOS. I recommend lowering RAM speed before raising voltage because quite simply underclocking RAM won't hurt a thing but performance, while overvoltage could damage something if you're unlucky.
As for whether you're using 32 or 64 bit, that's easy to check. Go into your video options in DCS. If it gives you the option to pick "high" for textures and things, you're in 64 bit. If there's no option higher than "medium" for some of them, you're in 32 bit.

Intel XMP Should be stable.
Most mainboards and chips I've dealt with in the past have "guidelines"
ie, 2 Sticks you can run DDR1600, 4 sticks they recommend you drop to DDR1333.
Like i said though, i havent dealth with intel chips in a while, as AMD has been plenty worth it for me.
AMD Chips that I've used in the last 5 years and prolly before, have a separate Voltage for teh Integrated memory controller on the chip.
So,
CPU Voltage (Voltage to CPU Cores) Memory Voltage (Voltage to Memory DIMMs) IMC Voltage. (Voltage to Integrated Memory Controller on the CPU).
Intel might have something similar.
But I never saw detailed system specs other than the cryptic specs in your sig.
4 sticks of ram vs 2 sticks does change the potential solutions.
4 sticks you should be running DDR1333, unless you specifically know what you are doing with manually setting timings, frequency and voltage.
I'd also look into making sure the Intel HD 4000 onboard GPU Cores are Disabled.

Hello,
I read through but did not see... have you tried downclocking your GPU a bit?
good luck. Yep, took it back to stock levels and still the error. I've ran memtest on each RAM stick for about 4 hours each and haven't come across any errors. I've also ran Heaven Unigine for over an hour on max settings and no errors. Anyone else got any ideas?....

so your OC was prolly unstable on a core or something.
