wow, never saw the glass had a stem, pretty cool. I've smoked cigars a few times but it was just a passing fad for me. I haven't smoked one for at least 7 years. I did at least have the cigars with a glass of brandy. It's a great combo. nearly the same story, my uncle is a big cigar smoker, so I smoke 5-6 a year...

That glass was seriously freaking me out. Thanks for the follow up pic. LOL Not into cigars, but I get the idea. I miss smoking, I wish it was healthy. Or at least not quite so bad. LOL Thought about cigars as an alternative, but I know it would just get me going again and then an interesting hobby would get the best of me.

Maybe 2 or 3 per year. When I'm with some friends - we like to have a copious dinner with many courses each accompanied by a good glass of wine. And we end the evening with a glass of Cognac and a cigar.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I had a Cuban to celebrate a combination of my birthday, anniversary and buying a new house. I enjoyed smoking it for about 2/3 of the cigar, and then it started to make me queasy. It was my first cigar. I'd kind of like to try some flavoured cigars sometime. If someone offered me a cigar in a social setting, I'd happily accept it.
I'll smoke a tobacco pipe maybe a couple of times a month, and a hookah maybe a few times a year. Never touched a cigarette and probably never will.
I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

Learned my lesson at an early age with Cigars. Was 12 and snuck a cigar from my grandfather. Went out back behind the shed and smoked it with my neighbor. Well, little did I know, you don`t inhale cigar smoke. Was I ever sick, my dad was not even mad after I told him how I got sick. He just laughed and told me he learned the same way.
To this day, I can`t stand the smell of cigars at all.

I used to smoke Cubans during the late 90's when it was a fad here. Nowadays, only on very rare occasions. My humidor is currently empty. But I've got to ask: how can a patriotic American smoke a decent cigar (= Cuban) while keeping a clean conscience? (j/K) And no, there really is no substitute for a Cuban cigar (like Puerto Rican cigars made from "Cuban tobacco seeds"), regardless of what you may tell yourself. Cuba apparently has a special soil that makes their tobacco plants develop that unique taste.

I wouldn't go for neither Cohibas nor Montecristos, because due to the huge international demand, the quality has become rather mediocre (unless you pay an exorbitant sum for a "limited edition"). I'd rather smoke Romeo y Julieta, Partagas, Sancho Panza etc. I guess you could always travel to Canada or Costa Rica to try one, Panzer.

I used to smoke a few a year, but haven't had one for the last year and a half or so.

Every now and then, usually late at night at a birthday party with 2 close friends, and after liberal amounts of single malt.
Rarely Cubans though, usually from Honduras or the Dominican Republic, and I prefer the smaller ones like Petit Coronas.

I've been known to enjoy a fine cigar. I even worked up a nice collection at one time, then I smoked/gifted them all away, and just haven't picked it up again. I smoke cigarettes atm, and would like to quit.

And no, there really is no substitute for a Cuban cigar (like Puerto Rican cigars made from "Cuban tobacco seeds"), regardless of what you may tell yourself. Cuba apparently has a special soil that makes their tobacco plants develop that unique taste. This just adds to the mystique for them. The following is true: - Cuba is where "modern" Cigars originated. - Most of the best rollers and growers are in Cuba. - A lot of Cuban growers fled Cuba and went to different tropical countries (i.e. Honduras, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, etc). - Those who fled Cuba before and/or after "La Revolucion" took the seeds Many swear by Cubans to be better but that is just personal taste. Smoke what you like, don't worry about the others say is good. Glad to see others here that enjoy it as well.
