IM...i reckon you're closer to the mark than you think brother...capture the light m8 capture the light!... highlights and shadows create reality and produce a third dimension pleasing to the eye....you're onto it! yes fran...these were the halcyon days of outrageous paint schemes reflecting the individual personalities of pilots and the artistic flair of the paint crews.... I love the endless variety of the schemes thumbing their nose at tedious military conformity........ WIP

I am following this thread for ages now, and so far I wasn't brave enough to ask when can I play this, or is there any beta download. I am still coward, so I wont ask it this time either. Just wanna say, keep up the good job, I am really looking forward to this!

Hi Staniol. Thanks for posting here, and please don't be scared. We are one of the oldest communities here and we are a friendly lot. As to the WWI project which Ade is heading up, it's very much still WIP. Although the graphical side of the game is moving forward quite nicely, there is a lot of work to do on the data side of the game to make the models fly like WWI aircraft. There is also catch up work being done by Ade, because when the WWI project started, the original 800x640 in game screens still worked, but as time has gone by and drivers changed we were forced to update the screens to 1024x768, so the game would load on more modern computers. Development of the exe code constantly adds new bits to the game, as you will have seen from other threads recently posted, like river boats, and improved railways, and much more. The number of people involved on various projects is quite small, and that is the main reason things move slowly. I don't know if your just a player, or you have some interest in helping out, but if you'd like to help out a bit by testing, or more, I dare say Ade could give you a WIP setup to work, and play with. Please keep in touch.

Hi Ade. A little WIP lorry for you. It\s a T TL2, 1912 Czech built lorry. I've found it very hard to find appropriate transport vehicles for the 1914-18 period, but this one looks similar to lots of lorries in service during WWI. I bet you'll be able to re-skin it into lots of nice targets on both sides. The one in the pic, is a covered version, but I'll make an open backed version too. I know you'll like a driver in the open cab, but I don't know if there will be enough points to fit one. I'll do my best.

Hi, I really appreciate the answer. Usually I am more than a gamer, so I would like to help with testing if you do not have high demands, I have very limited timeframe due to wife, kid, work, you name it. I am quite experienced in sound engineering, so if you lack sound effects, or you aim for better quality, I cna help out. Done a lot of 2D Graph work too, but never worked with 3D so I would skip that. (I thought about showing something to you, and realised that I still have a game remake lurking around the net, which was made completely by myself. If you have the time, just check this out, its my work: Patrol Falcon Download. I know its far from EAW, but has airplanes in it...:) )
