Playing with 1.03 beta (alpha?) is still lot of fun. And for such an early version of the game (from 2008? build) the graphics effects looks better than some of the current flight sims. Close encounter with MIG-29 USS Theodore Roosevelt at dawn

I would like to know more about genesis of this sim. Is it highly modified Hornet 3.0 engine in the similar way like bms team did with F4 engine? Or am i wrong and this is a completely new thing?

I wonder how far they have come in the almost two years since this, it would be nice to get an updated interview as the sim looks very promising.
